There are many ways to train at Body Basics. We offer a variety of classes to kick-start and maintain your health and wellness. From Yoga to Bootcamp to Seniors Classes.
BOOTCAMP: Full body circuit fitness training Timed workout- work at your own pace to build strength and tone Free weights, resistance bands, body weight and partner assisted exercises Help
STEP & CORE: Get your cardio on with 30 minutes of classic step blocks, followed by 30 minutes of core strengthening, mobilization and flexibility.
FLUID CONDITIONING: Using primarily your own body weight, you will lengthen and strengthen your body in a flow of functional fitness movements. Your body will thank you for this end of the week workout. Bare feet are welcome.
CARDIO KICKBOXING: Cardio kickboxing is a group fitness class that combines martial arts techniques with fast-paced cardio. This high-energy workout challenges the beginner and elite athlete alike. Build stamina, improve coordination and flexibility, and burn calories as you build lean muscle with this fun and challenging workout.
CORE & MORE: Focusing on improving strength, mobility, and stability through your core with a few extras thrown in.
FULL BODY STRENGTH: Start this year’s fitness journey off right with my Full Body Strength Class, perfect for all fitness levels. This class is going be a fun full body workout to build muscle and blast fat. Each workout will challenge your strength and incorporate both body weight HIIT moves with weight strengthing moves to give you a total body burn. If your want to burn body fat, learn muscle activation, build muscle and learn proper muscle recovery then this class is for you!
HATHA FUSION: A blend of Hatha Yoga, Pilates, and fitness weight conditioning. This class will focus on increasing your flexibility, balance, and strength, while allowing you to experience mind and body awareness. No previous experience required.
INSTRUCTORS CHOICE: Fitness Roulette Take a gamble and come for a workout that is “Instructors Choice”! A variety of class styles and equipment will be used to keep the workouts challenging and different from week to week.
RESTORATIVE: Restorative yoga provides healing for the body and the mind. Gentle movement that seeks to capture physical, mental and emotional relaxation. Bolsters are great or a pillow from home also works. Blankets are helpful for extra cushioning, propping or covering up with during Savasana.
STEP & CARDIO: Basic step chordio meets floor aerobics. Get ready to break a sweat, move your body and burn calories.
STEP & WEIGHTS: Perfect mixture of cardio and strength, using steps and weights.
TABATA/INTERVALS: Kettlebells, TRX, weights and just about anything else can come up with to kick start your 2018 workout plan. The Tabata Program Each exercise in a given Tabata workout lasts only four minutes, but it’s likely to be one of the longest four minutes you’ve ever endured. The structure of the program is as follows: Work out hard for 20 seconds,Rest for 10 seconds, Complete 8 rounds.You push yourself as hard as you can for 20 seconds and rest for 10 seconds. This is one set. You’ll complete eight sets of each exercise. You can do pretty much any exercise you wish. You can do squats, push-ups, burpees or any other exercise that works your large muscle groups.
TRX BLAST: Develop strength, balance, flexibility and core simultaneously using your own body weight with suspension training on the TRX.
TRX MIX UP: Come get sweaty with a combo of full body TRX mixed with heart thumping cardio for the final burn.
YIN/YANG: Want to increase your range of motion and help stimulate your ligaments, tendons & bones and relax? Then this is the yoga for you.
ZUMBA: shake up your workout with Latin-inspired moves. A fun way to acquire those sculpted hips, legs and abdominals.
HIGH FITNESS: It's a group exercise format. Simple, easy to follow choreography set to music you know and love! High has taken old school aerobics to the next level with modern techniques that tones your entire body! It's a sweaty blast of fitness fun for everyone, no matter where you are on your fitness journey! YOU choose your intensity and by the end of class, you will ALWAYS leave feeling HIGH and wanting more!
